Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is an integral member of DASCH and DASCH’s registered charity, the DASCH Foundation, that strives to carry out the mission statement of DASCH. Under the direction of the Chief Development Officer, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will be primarily responsible for creating, developing and managing the production of all digital content and creatives for DASCH, DASCH Foundation and DASCH’s subsidiary company, Nurse Next Door (NND). NND provides home care services for senior home health care. The position will appeal to a highly strategic thinker with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.
Role & Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the Development and Communications Team to support the overall marketing and fundraising efforts of DASCH, DASCH Foundation and NND.
Remain current with social movements and cultural changes to create relevant shareable content for DASCH followers and all social medial platforms.
Engage social media followers and grow DASCH social media accounts.
Create content for promotional graphics using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
Create and manage advertising campaigns and materials.
Create shareable content for internal communications.
Team member helping lead in person and virtual events.
Ensure alignment of DASCH’s mission, vision and values with our online presence and digital content.
Develop content that matches correct tone of organization and mission.
Experience with visual story telling.
Manage branding guidelines and application for assets internally and externally.
Provide guidance on communications best practices to all departments.
Skills & Qualifications:
University Degree or College Diploma in Creative Communications and/or Marketing, and 1-3 years of experience in a non-profit organization.
Experience managing and strategically using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn required.
Experience creating and measuring digital advertising campaigns and analyzing insights required.
Ability to design and create graphics using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite with a high degree of efficiency required.
Utilization of SM management platforms – Canva; Adobe; Hootsuite; MailChimp, etc.
Experience in WordPress.
Experience in creating and deploying email marketing campaigns using best practices for data management in Mailchimp required.
Experience working with donor management software required.
Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced professional environment.
Good organizational ability, attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Assets:
Experience in the non-profit community.
Understanding of disability-based language.
Understanding of people with intellectual disabilities.
Driver’s license and vehicle availability an asset.
Work Hours:
Full Time
Monday to Friday
Must be able to flex work hours based on position needs
