Events Coordinator Job at Blackmores Group – New South Wales

This hands-on, graduate-level role is suitable for someone who has just finished a recent Events or Marketing Degree (or similar) looking for their first role. Alternatively, you could already have some events experience looking for a move into a corporate environment.

Working in close partnership with the Events Manager and broader Blackmores teams, you will ensure the success of major industry events including the high-profile Blackmores Sydney Running festival.

12 month contract position.

Responsibilities include:
Supporting the Event Manager with all Blackmores trade and customer events.

Review event briefs, complete required paperwork, liaise with brand/sales team

Work with freight company and tradeshow event contacts to ensure all requirements are met

Pack and unpack promotional /event material and liaise with warehouse staff on a regular basis

Work with design team to provide all advertising and branding material required for tradeshows

Order product and point of sale for tradeshows using internal systems and processes

Working with the Event Manager to ensure the correct products are on the stands that are aligned with current campaigns and brand team plans

Coordinate resources for events and schedules, including attendee accommodation

Blackmores encourages flexible working to promote a healthy work-life balance. This role is based at our Head Office in Warriewood. Some out of hours work (either in evenings or weekends) may be required, as well as interstate travel to events.

Who are you?

A recent graduate in Events or Marketing (or similar), or someone with recent event management experience

Must be able to commute to Warriewood when required as specific tasks for this role are based at Warriewood office and warehouse

Highly organised, good time management, process driven

Strong communication and works well with others

High level of computer literacy, including MS Excel and Outlook

Double vaccinated against covid19.
