Knowles Centre is a community-based, non-profit social service agency for children, adolescents and young adults facing difficult times in their lives. It began as a home for boys in 1907 and today provides a range of therapeutic and skills-based programs to young people from Manitoba and other communities throughout Canada.

We are hiring!Casual Onsite WorkerS.A.I.L. is inviting applications for CASUAL Onsite Workers:Position: – Casual Onsite Worker – Available shifts include:
· Saturdays, Sundays, holiday days (8 to 4)· Miscellaneous evenings (4 to 12; 6 to10)· Overnights (12 to 8)
Summary: On Site Workers provide support and supervision of clients residing in the SAIL apartments. On Site Workers are also responsible for the security of the apartment buildings, vehicles, and grounds.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
Provides support and supervision of clients residing in apartment buildings
Responsible for the security of the apartment buildings, vehicles, and grounds
Daily case notes on each client, incident reports and other required documentation
Provides information to Support Workers and Case Managers
Performs cleaning duties as assigned
Reviews and documents video footage and reports and observed concerns
Arranges for bulk waste removal with 311
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum Gr.12, (Post-secondary education preferred)
Experience working in an independent living program is an asset
Strong interest in working with high needs, at-risk youth
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience working with clients with behavioral and emotional difficulties
Valid in First Aid/CPR
Valid Non-violent Crisis Intervention
